Andrew “Dickie” Thompson and the returning Taylor Beard have been named as assistant coaches, while Dan Patel will take on the role of development coach.
Club president Chris Hinks said he was pleased to have a sound system in place with the start of the Goulburn Murray Cricket season more than two months away.
“It's great to know we are organised with pre-season only a few weeks away from getting started,” he said.
“We think this group will work very well together. All of our coaches have terrific cricketing brains.
“Their different ideas will add a lot of weight as to what we are trying to achieve as a club.
“They obviously all can't be at every game and training session so having this structure will help us to communicate between all teams.”
Beard, who will be a star addition to Echuca’s batting line-up, brings plenty of experience to his role having coached Sandhurst for the past three seasons.
“At first I wasn’t sure whether I would have the time to commit,” Beard said.
“But with footy called off for the year it has allowed me to jump on board. I’m looking forward to giving back to the club over the next few months.
“Hopefully I can use some of my experience to help improve the guys around me.”
Thompson will bring a winning mentality to the club having played in three senior A grade premierships before retiring.
“I want the guys to experience the same success as I did because there aren't many better feelings than winning a premiership,” Thompson said.
“My son is starting to come through the junior ranks and I want to ensure there is a strong pathway for them to follow.
“One of our goals as a coaching group will be to help establish Echuca as one of the strongest clubs in the GMC.”
Patel, who joined the club last season, said he was hoping to add a point of difference.
“There were times last year when I would offer some different drills and I think the team really enjoyed those,” he said.
“My goal is for everyone to be the best possible cricketer they can. If everyone is able to give it their best I think we will be a very competitive team.”
