The opening batsman has made the move to Sandhurst in the Bendigo District Cricket Association.
Last season, he scored 538 runs at an average of 41.3 which included a century against Echuca.
“He bowls reasonably sharpish and is an opening batsman, so we're really excited to have Anthony join us. Hopefully, we can help him to develop into the cricketer he wants to become,” Sandhurst head of coaching Craig Howard told the Bendigo Advertiser.
McMahon joins good mate Joel Murphy at the club with the pair potentially set to open the batting together.

Adam Baird, 30, joins Mounts in an assistant coaching role with his brother Travis joining the club last year.
Baird has quite the footballing resume being selected in the Victorian Country side on two occasions and having represented Bendigo eight times.
He has also won four premierships with Golden Square.
● THE Goulburn Valley Croquet Association (GVCA) golf croquet season will not go ahead as scheduled due to the ongoing threat of the coronavirus.
Officials confirmed the decision on the competition's Facebook page.
“GVCA Golf Croquet Coordinator Bev Floyd has announced that the 2020 Golf Croquet Pennant Season has been cancelled,” the post said.
“Withdrawal of some clubs and the uncertainty surrounding easing of COVID-19 restrictions has meant that the season is not viable.
“We now look forward to 2021.”
