Southern 80 officially cancelled for 2021

However Ski Racing Australia has now officially cancelled the season due to uncertainty around border restrictions.

"The proposed 10 race “mini season” has today been cancelled due to the recent Covid – 19 outbreak across NSW and Vic," a statement from SRA said.

"Despite Covid numbers continuing to fall, the uncertainty the recent outbreak has caused to our event holders, event sponsors and you the members, it is unrealistic to continue investing time and money into what seems like an un-winnable situation."

The race is now on hold until 2022.
