It follows an upset victory by Echuca over ladder-leader Kyabram Fire Brigade on Saturday afternoon.
Winning the toss and batting, Echuca's was led by a strong 64 from Tim Wood.
With Brendan Moyle making 30 as an opener, and Ben Fulford adding 28, Wood took his team to an incredibly strong position of 8/205.
Despite another brilliant 74 from the Flames’ Tyler Jones, Echuca's bowlers all contributed in defending the total.
Taylor Beard, Rylea Jones and Brendan Moyle all took two wickets each as the Flames were dismissed in the 41st over for 182, giving Echuca a 23-run victory.
With the loss the Flames record fell to 4-2-2, equal with their opponent Echuca and round winners Rochester and Moama, with just percentage separating the four sides.
●Moama has repeated its result from the start of the season with a victory against Echuca South.
Mitchell McMullan took the attack to South's bowlers early, with the opener hitting seven fours en route to a top score of 62.
Middle order support from Jack Russell (33) and Leigh Haw (30) saw Moama to a score of 8/225, despite Clayton Holmes, Mitchell Stephens and Joel Stephens taking two wickets each for South.
The Magpies took an early advantage by limiting the competition's leading run-scorer Holmes to 26, but captain Josh Novoselek tried to lead his team forward with a strong 57.
But his opposing captain Jack Russell proved too much to stop, claiming 4/49 off his 10 overs as South was toppled for 188, giving Moama the 37-run win.
●Amila Gunathilaka has put BLU back on the winners list, while handing a major blow to Tongala's finals hopes.
Gunathilaka ripped through the Blues’ top order, claiming 5/29 off his nine overs.
Daniel Coombs gave his best to keep his team in the match, but his 36 and Rory Knight's 35 could only get their team to 8/143.
But the Blues weren't going quietly, with their bowlers making life difficult for the Lions.
Liam Hamilton top scored with 48, but it still took until the final over for the Lions to get the win, finishing on 6/144 with just three balls to go for a four-wicket victory.
●Rochester's annual push back to the top of the table has begun.
Daniel Major (65) and Sean Williams (60) top scored for their team to score 7/215 against Cooma.
With Fraser Cleary taking three wickets, Rochester toppled Cooma for just 84 inside 34 overs for 131-run win, moving Rochester to third on the ladder.
