Rich River
The resumption of the 2020-21 CVBD weekend pennant season on Saturday, January 9 was not all that enterprising for our club with all teams suffering defeats.
Only two of our 12 rinks over the four divisions managed wins, albeit some were close games only going down by narrow margins.
We are still tracking well overall for the season with three of our teams sitting second, and another in fourth position on the ladder with five rounds and one deferred game to go until the finals start.
A team representing Rich River played in the Men's State Fours Championships last weekend and prevailed in a hard fought close contest with a one-shot margin and now move into the CVBD Champion Championships in February.
Congratulations to Darryl Weymouth, Peter Nesbitt, Colin Hayes and Gerry Devlin.
