Despite a slow start to the season, Tonny is now starting to find its feet as it aims to finish the season with a bang.
On Saturday, Echuca South found out just how good Tonny can be at their best after the Swans were bowled out for 63 on their own ground inside 35 overs.
Matt Ohlsen was in devastating form with the ball for Tongala taking 4-5 from his nine overs which included six maidens.
Not to be outdone, Adam Nunn took three wickets of his own after bowling the maximum nine overs.
Clayton Homes top scored for South with 16 with only two other players reaching double figures.
Ohlsen was dismissed at the top of the order for Tonny as Jayden Tucker and Daniel Coombs combined to lead their side to a win.
● MOAMA has given itself a one-game advantage over Echuca with a 52-run victory over its arch-rival.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Moama raced to 6-224 from its 45 overs.
Jack Russell (68 runs) and Kirk Teasdale (53) combined well for a 57-run partnership in the middle order to help their side to a strong score.
Simon Maddox and Taylor Beard were the pick of the bowlers for Echuca taking two wickets apiece.
In response, the loss of early wickets put Echuca on the back foot as it sat at 3-27 when BJ Moyle was dismissed for 16.
Tim Wood, Ben Fulford and Matt Hinks showed some resistance in the middle order but in the end their efforts were not enough.
Billy Gallagher led the way for Moama with three wickets.
