Teys lit up the Moama Bowling Club on Friday night to help lead the Tweed Heads Ospreys to their second BPL trophy.
The 27-year-old was at his devastating best as the Ospreys came from third position on the ladder to take home the title.
Standing in their way in the final were the Adelaide Pioneers who were the raging hot favourites to take home the title once pool games had been completed.
But in the end, Tweed Heads’ momentum proved to be too much.
Ospreys representative Corey Wedlock told the host broadcaster he had been left in awe of Teys’ performance.
“That’s the best performance I’ve seen on one night,” he said.
“Everything he played, he pretty much got. I just had to play my area and he did the rest.
“Chloe was fantastic off the bench, too.
“Turls (Tweed Heads coach Wayne Turley), after we were down earlier in the week after everything started, said `enjoy yourselves’ — and since that we’ve gone on to win almost every game.”
Teys said a different preparation may have been a factor in his team's inspiring night.
“I missed the Red Bull, I usually have a bit of Red Bull on the way (and tonight I didn’t),” Teys said.
“I’m very tired, maybe I’ve just got to play tired.”
Stewart came off the bench for the final three ends of the final against the Pioneers and didn’t allow the pressure to get to her.
Remarkably, the Ospreys dropped just one in the final.
“I’m absolutely stoked, we all get on really, really well,” Stewart said.
“I’m a little bit speechless.”
Meanwhile, it was a difficult week for home side Murray Steamers who finished at the foot of the ladder with four wins and 10 losses from 14 pool matches.
Despite their frustrations, the Steamers won their final game against the Perth Suns in straight sets to end the competition on a high.
The next BPL is scheduled for April 20 to 23 at Club Pine Rivers.
