P!ss heads and Misfits again had comfortable 8–3 wins against their opponents, Hasbeens and Double Trouble, respectively.
Both teams are still undefeated and with Misfits having the bye next round I can only assume that P!ss heads will move to the top of the ladder, as I can’t see them having too much trouble against The Shoeless.
The Shoeless, however, had a convincing 7-4 win over Pastoral Phoenix who really seem to be having trouble finding their way after being promoted to division one. 26 Jets had the bye.
Pastoral Pirates, the only undefeated team in division two so far, maintained second position on the ladder despite having the bye.
Pastoral Warriors had a huge 10-1 win over Tonny’s Dart Devils who are really struggling to find their first win.
Ocheholics moved to the top of the ladder with a resounding 7-4 win over Cockadoos.
In the final game, The Recyclables denied Sore and Achey their first win by taking out the team’s game to sneak over the line with a 6-5 win.
Individual highlights
First division
You’ll be getting sick of hearing Michael Bajowski’s name as again he was stood out player with the most tons (14) the highest average of 25.37, the shortest leg of 18 darts and the only 180 this week.
Our top lady player Jo Hadley was runner-up to Michael in all categories, and it was another of our ladies, Janine Cassar who hit the highest peg of 110. Well done girls.
Second division
Rob Molnar stepped up this week with nine tons to lead the list, he also had the shortest leg with a 19-dart game. Chris Gritty had the best average with 19.09 and surprising even himself, Greg Williams had the highest peg with a mighty 95.

DartConnect
Now that we are pretty well entrenched into DartConnect, it’s time we skilled up a few more people to learn how to use it.
I’m happy to run through it with anyone who is interested. It’s not overly difficult, although having used it now for two years, I’m still finding out different and interesting aspects of it.
While on the subject of DartConnect, there has been some suggestion that we should take a look at Nakka as an alternative, as it’s free.
I’ve never used Nakka, but I believe it is used successfully in the Shepparton Dart League, so maybe it could be a consideration in the future.
I’d be interested in hearing from anyone who knows their was around the program.
Meat raffle
With only three weeks to go until I head overseas, things are under way to making alternative arrangements for running the raffle.
Our fundraiser, Sam Betts and Fran Seaton, our treasurer and I will be meeting to look at options which may include setting up a roster, utilising a handful of volunteers or whatever we can do to make it workable.
We can’t afford to lose this valuable income stream.
As you know, John Higgins has been an invaluable help and has vowed to be there in the future to offer any assistance he can.
I have to thank Jo Hadley too who, in response to my earlier write-ups, came along last week and helped me sell tickets.
A big thank you also has to go out to the Pastoral patrons who generously support us every week.
