With a few pick ups including returning playing coach Laura Gorman, Berrigan's A-grade netball team is set to put a competitive foot forward this year.
“We’ve got a great mix of old and new players in the senior squad,” Gorman said.
“And our number one objective is to be competitive.
“Coming back after a bad year last year (with COVID-19 cancelling the season) has given the players time to realise how serious they are about their netball.”
The Saints will welcome midcourt pocket rocket Alliza Evans as a new face and Leah Dalgleish is returning to the side after shifting home from Melbourne.
While being successful is on the forefront of the team’s mind, Gorman said the juniors wouldn't go unnoticed.
“There will be lots of room for junior development this year,” Gorman said.
“I know as a junior I always loved the opportunity to play up.”
