BLU started day two of the Goulburn Murray Cricket fixture with first innings points already in hand and a lead of 67 runs.
Captain Regis Chakabva returned to the crease on 116 not out and quickly went to work building on his already impressive innings, partnering with Declan Pearse.
He eventually fell for 143 from just 97 deliveries, with his innings containing 14 fours and four sixes.
Shortly after Pearse (51) departed, Chakabva decided to cut the BLU innings short, declaring with the score at 4-248 as his side searched for an outright win.
After a paltry 86 in the first innings, Nondies put up more of a fight in the second with openers Archie Sussex (30) and Patrick Doyle (49) holding firm at the top of the order.
Sussex looked to rattle the BLU bowlers with aggressive stroke-making as his 30 came from 20 balls, with 26 runs from boundaries (five fours, one six).
By the time both openers had fallen the score was 3-89, with the remaining Nondies batsmen looking to bat out the overs in a watchful innings.
The score eventually progressed to 8-111 before Kyeran Ellery (38) and Aiden Konopka (11 not out) built a 44-run partnership for the eighth wicket, hoping to survive until stumps and deny BLU the maximum points.
In the end it was not to be and Nondies was all out for 156, only six runs short of forcing BLU to bat again.
Liam Hamilton (4-22) was the pick of the bowlers for BLU, with his four wickets including top scorer Patrick Doyle.
Jeremy Felmingham (2-46) and Luke Thompson (2-14) also made valuable contributions with the ball.
Last year’s finalist Nondies finished the season in seventh place with a record of 6-8.
BLU enters the finals as the third-ranked side and will be confident going into a semi-final with Moama after defeating it in round 13.
