Cobram Football Netball Club recognised its up-and-coming talent last week at the 2024 junior presentation.

All teams were honoured for their outstanding efforts this season, including the premiership-winning under-17 footballers, who triumphed over Mulwala by five points in the decider at Moama last weekend.
Brodie Wren claimed the Stewart Memorial best-and-fairest for the thirds, as well as the leading goal-kicker award, while Mikael Corso finished as runner-up and Luca Orsida scooped the rising star award.
Hunter Hardwidge and Sam Watson went home with the best in finals and best first year player awards respectively, while Lenny Power (most improved), Jaxon Webb (most courageous), Adam Champagne (most consistent), Jayden Woodhead (coaches award) and Kyden Rodda (best team player) were all worthy award recipients after fine seasons.
The under-14 football best-and-fairest was taken out by Riley Thompson, who won ahead of runner-up and leading goal-kicker Eamon Hyde, while Zach Trist took out the best first year player and best in finals awards.
Archie Peters was named most consistent, Hulaif Hefi Hafizi most improved, and Sam DeVincentis the most determined, while Oliver Benson and Jock McCormick took out the best team player and rising star gongs respectively.
Will Hutchinson and Andre Corso nabbed the coaches’ awards, and Travis Thompson claimed the club person award.
In the under-13 netball, Emily Collins won the best-and-fairest ahead of runner-up Ruby O’Brien, while Evie Quinane and Mia Lindhe won the coaches’ awards.
Ada Kennedy claimed the under-15 netball best-and-fairest from Giselle Wren who finished runner-up, with the coaches’ awards claimed by Olivia Hindson and Edie Ross-Soden.
The under-17 netball best-and-fairest was won by Amalie Pate ahead of runner-up Tahlia Pate, Lucy Adkins and Ava Ross-Soden took out the coaches’ awards, and Ashley Gardner was named players’ player.
