After a barnstorming year of tennis, Crossman was judged to be one of the best young tennis players in Victoria and will be right in contention to earn the award on Tennis Victoria’s night of nights.
Crossman was nominated alongside Roisin Gilheany and Stefani Webb, and for the young tennis ace it’s fitting recognition as she takes the tennis world by storm.
Crossman, a player at Rich River Tennis Club, was recently part of the Victorian team in the under-15 Reid Cup tournament in Queensland, where she competed against some of the best young talents in the country.
It was Crossman’s second time in the side but first competing, and the gallant Vics progressed to the final where they were defeated by NSW.
Before that, Crossman earned her maiden International Tennis Federation Junior Tour title back in June while also being named Bendigo Academy of Sports Tennis Athlete of the Year.
The Tennis Victoria Awards night will take place at Kooyong Tennis Club on October 27.
