Fans witnessing the round 12 A-grade netball match between Leitchville-Gunbower and Lockington-Bamawn United may have had a sense of déjà vu, with the contest following the same course as the sides’ round one meeting.

The Bombers walked away winners 61-30 on a wet day at Leitchville Recreation Reserve. It was a slight improvement for the Cats, who fell 24-66 in the opening round on their home court.

The result is indicative of the two sides’ fortunes this season, with L-G cemented in the top four while LBU languishes in second-last spot.
The Bombers have an 8-3 win-loss record this season and face a crucial contest away to Elmore (8-2) next weekend as they look to hold on to third.
Meanwhile, LBU (2-9) will have home court advantage against the only team below it on the table, Huntly (1-9).
