Rich River Bowls Club
Ladies:
On Tuesday, November 15, 24 bowlers played three bowl triples. Winners were Pat Sehestedt , Liz Easter and Cheryle Cargill with +16. Runners-up were Toni Beck, Barb Serle and Heather Freeman with +11.

The Daisy Taylor pairs is down to Liz Easter/Lyn Kingston and Pat Sehestedt/Heather Freeman.
The minor singles championship final will be between Stephanie Shine and Rosanne Sharp due to be played on the Sunday, December 11 — our championships play-off day.
The ladies have their Rich River Composite two bowl triples this Friday, November 25 (out of the players there must be two clubs represented) — $25 per player which includes bistro lunch and afternoon tea (9.30am start) — perfect for some pre-pennant training.

On Wednesday, November 16, 28 bowlers enjoyed the day with return to three-bowl pairs. Winners were Gary Radford and Warwick Stiles, the only three game winners.
Second were Gerry Devlin and Peter Jackson with 2.5 wins and in third place were Stan Barker and Ken Jones with two wins.
With the jackpot restarting at $50, Garry and Warwick successfully took the jackpot on a last bowl pressure draw from Gary — well done boys.
Today, (Wednesday, November 23) will be jackpot pairs three bowl (single entry).
Entries close at 10.30am. The jackpot will restart at $50.
The entries for the 100-up are up on the notice board, they close on December 1.
Those players still in the Club Single Championship are required to finalise this round by Sunday, November 27.
With our first round of pennant this weekend, all named players are urged to come to pennant practice on Friday at 4pm for one hour of practice where possible with your teams, finishing at about 5pm (please contact your skip if you are coming or not coming).

Thirty players played two games of nine ends.
The winners on 30 points after a countback Carol Glass (skip), Carol O’Callaghan (third) and Lyn Prott (lead).
The runners-up, also on 30 points, were Joan Heales (skip), Pam Kerr (third), Phyllis Elly (second) and Pat Benson (lead).
Consolation prizes went to Ken Hopper, Dawn Beer, Colin Hicks and Sue Underwood.

Pairs at 1pm. Their is only room for eight rinks, so get names in early.
Saturday, November 26
Start of weekend pennant. Please check the board in the office re team selection as teams are selected after Tuesday’s pennant practice. Aim to be present for pennant at 1pm for 1:15pm roll-up — start is 1:30pm.
Skippers should check that all players are aware of their position in the team and arrange transport where necessary.
There is a list for pennant in the foyer and players will be selected from this list unless they have filled in the unavailable list for certain days.
Division one: Rochester has the bye.
Division two: Rochester away to Moama Steamers.
Division three: Rochester away to Echuca.
Division four: Rochester away to Rich River.

We will have a working bee on the C Green on Sunday, November 27 at 3pm.
I have been told it should be brief ... one to one-and-a-half hours.
Darren will have scarified the green and we need barrows and shovels to spread some fill. Please pass the message on.

Lockington Ladies Bowling Club
Ladies invitation fours tournament
The Lockington Ladies Bowling Club held its annual invitation fours tournament on Wednesday, November 16 which was supported by Campaspe Shire Council.
In freezing conditions the following clubs Tongala, Kyabram, Rochester, Rich River, Elmore, Mathoura, Moama, Echuca and Lockington braved the elements to take part.
Tournament secretary Lorraine Appleby introduced vice-president Marg Dowie, who was standing in for president Denise Gilmore who was unable to attend due to illness.
She apologised for the Campaspe Shire Council which was unable to attend and acknowledged its continued support for this event over the past four years.
She welcomed everyone and thanked them for coming along to play and supporting our club.

60 & over bowls
The Campaspe Valley & District 60 & over Bowls Group held their Wednesday weekly bowls at Echuca Bowls Club on a very cool day for November — 16℃.
It was Echuca Kia Day, sponsors of our 60 & over game.
Twenty four teams, that’s 96 players competing for a chook. Three teams had won three games then rolled off to within the yard stick.
John Hollowood’s team came second from Echuca, they had four bowls within the metre stick.
They were skipper Ron Payne, third Tony Deenen, second John Hollowood and Kevin McAsey as lead.
Greg Clymo’s team also from Echuca were the winners with five bowls within the metre stick.
The team was Colin Berryman lead, Kevin Bursill second, Mal Thorn third and Greg Clymo was skipper.
The winners received a small trophy each from Kia. Members of both teams also each received a chook.
Today (Wednesday, November 23) 60 & over bowls is at Mathoura Bowls Club with an 11am start.
