With 201 junior athletes competing every week in more than 960 events, the 2020-21 season was one of the most attended seasons in recent memory.
In the biggest two awards of the night, Will Addicott was named the senior club champion (under 11-under 16), while Ruby Andrews took out the junior club champion (U7-U10) for the most overall points this season.
Winning the Riverine Herald Spirit of Sport award this season was Harvey McColl.
McColl received the award for showing respect to all, interacting positively with teammates, supporting his teammates, and showing persistence, determination and commitment throughout the season.
Meanwhile, state award winners were also recognised, including the U10 boys 2020 state 4x200m relay flag team which finished third. The team consisted of Marlon Micalizzi, Lynkoln Richardson, Nate Smith and Cody Reyne.
Also mentioned on the night was the record-breaking number of athletes who headed to the state championships at Lakeside Stadium in Melbourne in 2021, with 35 athletes taking the trip.
Leading the charge was Luca Micalizzi who won gold in the U9 shot-put with a massive 7.65m.
Marlon Micallizi came away with silver and bronze medals in the U10 200m and 100m respectively, while Andrea Archibald also staked her claim on a silver medal in the U16 100m.
Centre records were also recognised on the night with an all time high 18 centre records broken this season.
