The Pirates are set to face off against Kyneton Tigers on Saturday, the first game back for the men’s and women’s teams after an interrupted start to the season.
Echuca’s men’s side have played two games so far, falling to Melton in the season opener in early October before defeating Castlemaine a week later.
The Pirates women’s team meanwhile will return to the court for the first time in more than a month.
They also lost to Melton in round one, before a bye in round two.
Echuca missed out in playing their last three scheduled games, with clashes against Macedon Ranges, Bacchus Marsh and Maryborough all abandoned.
The Pirates normally play at Echuca Basketball Stadium in Echuca South, but this Saturday’s game against Kyneton will instead be held at Echuca Twin Rivers School.
Only limited seating is available for patrons at Twin Rivers.
The women’s match against Kyneton will tip off at 5pm, with the men’s game getting underway at 7pm.
The Lady Tigers sit third on the CBL North West Women’s ladder with three wins and one loss so far this season.
In the men’s competition the Tigers are still chasing their first victory of the season, with four losses on the board so far.
Meanwhile, the Echuca Moama Basketball Association’s domestic season will also resume next week.
