Moama Echuca’s junior teams will kick things off with a trio of clashes against Spring Gully on Saturday morning.
The under-12A Border Raiders will hit the road to take on Spring Gully Falcons, while the under-12C Border Vikings will face Spring Gully Rockets and the under-16s will take the field against Spring Gully Rovers, with the latter two games both at Jack Eddy Reserve.
The senior women Raiders will be in action on Sunday morning when they take on Castlemaine at Strathfieldsaye Recreation Reserve, with Moama Echuca looking to carry on its strong run of form to end the regular season.
The Raiders haven’t lost a home-and-away game since June, and they wrapped up the season with a resounding 9-0 victory over Swan Hill a fortnight ago.
Moama Echuca and Castlemaine met twice this season, with the two sides playing out a 1-1 draw on both occasions.
The senior men’s team will be the last of Moama Echuca’s sides in action, with the Raiders set to face off against Deniliquin Wanderers at 2pm on Sunday at Jack Eddy Reserve.
The Raiders will be hoping to get their first win against Deni this season, with the Wanderers emerging victorious in all four of their previous encounters.
Both the men’s and women’s clashes are must-wins for the Raiders — the victors will advance to the next round of the finals while a loss would see their seasons come to an end.
