Sarah-Jane Taylor’s strike was cancelled out by Benalla’s Heidi Perry, and despite the efforts of Sally Thompson and Bree Oliver, the Rats left Shepparton with a tie.
Echuca Moama will play SYC next week at Echuca College.
In the junior ranks, the Rats played out a 14-goal thriller against GV Grammar, with both sides unable to be split after regulation.
Jack Thompson (three goals), Jack Bateson (two) and Lily Williams (two) were pivotal for Echuca-Moama but were nonetheless denied a breakthrough win in the 7-7 draw.
