The Frank Ryan Raceway will play host to Echuca Harness Racing Club’s biggest meeting of the year, with the Echuca Pacing Cup and Echuca Trotters Cup both up for grabs.
“It’s our biggest meeting of the year, and it’s probably one of the biggest attended harness meetings throughout the state for the year,” club president Shane Gloury said.
“It’ll be a similar type of format to what we had last year, but we’re going to have fireworks after the last race on the card.”
“We think that will be really well received, particularly by the visitors and families in attendance, and we’re hopeful that we get a good strong crowd on course.”
Along with the addition of fireworks, off-track activities are set to return with entertainment, food and refreshments all to be on tap for the meet.
Punters will be well-supported with TAB on site and, for those so inclined, the popular $10 Punters Club will let race-goers take their mind off the form guide and focus on a great night on and off the track.

This year’s edition is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18 with a nine-race card set to be contested, highlighted by the eponymous Elmore Pacing Cup, boasting a winners purse of $10,000.
Race-goers will be spoilt for choice in the holiday season as Gunbower will also hold its flagship harness meeting, the Gunbower Pacing Cup on Sunday, December 8.
