We also had our Goulburn Murray Junior League 16s and 14s making their respective grand finals and the youth girls footy team making finals.
Last Sunday we achieved more success at the Murray League presentations by winning the Champion Club Award for the fourth consecutive season.
This is an outstanding achievement and recognition for all the hard work that is completed by all our coaches, players, committee and volunteers.
Huge congratulations to our senior football co-captain Jack Russell who won the league best-and-fairest, O’Dwyer Medal along with Cobram’s Sam Beasley locked on 22 votes. A huge achievement from Jack who has been a Moama boy from under-12s.
Congratulations also to 17-and-under netballer Coby Morgan and 13-and-under netballer Evie Clarke for winning their respective league best-and-fairest awards. A great achievement by the girls who are both superstars on the court.
Congratulations also to Archie Teasdale who finished best-and-fairest runner-up in the under-17 football after a great season.
I would like to thank the executive committee, general committee, volunteers, coaches and players who have all supported and represented our great club and the wider Moama community in great fashion.
I would also like to thank our major sponsors, the Moama Bowling Club and the Border Inn Hotel, for their ongoing support to not only Moama, but the entire community.
Last but not the least I would like to say thanks to all our loyal sponsors, members, supporters and the wider community for their support throughout season 2024.
Best of luck to our netball teams representing Moama tomorrow in their grand finals.
Go Moama.
