Greg Norwood has been knocking on the door of late and edged out Steve Presser and Brian Gledhill to post a win.
Colin Short won a countback over Ted Fordham for the major B-grade prize and Ian Whatley had the equal best score of the day to take the C-grade honours.

Saturday, November 13
Steve Levy has a four-shot lead over Paddy Hannon, with Aaron Loader one further back in the club championships, which will culminate this week (Saturday, November 20).
Levy shot under par to finish in third place in Saturday’s event behind Sean Burns and Jonny Ray.
Joel Norwood didn’t let his dad Greg steal the limelight for too long when he won B-grade, and youngster Jaxson McMinn is tearing up C-grade and the junior event.
Greg Cheong had the score of the day in D-grade with Louis Stevens and Ted Retallick not far away.
A-grade: 1st Sean Burns (net 67); 2nd Jonny Ray (68); 3rd Steve Levy (68).
B-grade: 1st Joel Norwood (net 66); 2nd Matt O’Leary (68); 3rd Ron Meikle (69).

Sunday, November 14
The ladies played their usual Saturday competition on Sunday this week to make way for entrants in the men's championships on Saturday.
A-grade: 1st Felicity Douglas (38 points); 2nd Di Symons (35 points); 3rd Josie Kirkman (34 points).
Sunday medley: Sixty-six players turned out for the Sunday medley Stableford round on the east course.
It is great to see visitors able to return to the club after months of restrictions, with a visitor from Dubbo, Steven Colliver, the overall winner with 42 Stableford points.
Winners: 1st Steven Colliver (42 points); 2nd Peter Engley (38); 3rd Steve Jones (37).
Monday, November 15
Nine holes: The nine-hole Stableford competition on Monday was on the west course, with 21 points needed to win both A and B grades.
A countback was needed to separate Diane Watson and Julie Charlton in A-grade while long-time Rich River stalwart Beryl Clack was the winner in B-grade.
A-grade: 1st Diane Watson (21 points c/b); 2nd Julie Charlton (21); 3rd Carol Schulz (18).
B-grade: 1st Beryl Clack (21); 2nd Michelle Moon (20 c/b); 3rd Jennifer French (20).
Medley: Monday's 18-hole medley Stableford round saw yet another visitor take out first spot, with Tony Shemmell from Patterson River Golf Club winning on a countback with 36 points from up-and-coming Rich River junior Jaxson McMinn.
Angus Baldwin was third with 35 points.
Tuesday, November 16
The four-person Puttose produced some great scores with four chances at every putt a recipe for good scores.
Barry Devlin, Tim Noar, Doug Crow and Colin Tucker combined well to take the honours.

Wednesday, November 17
The second round of the ladies' championships was played in glorious spring conditions on Wednesday with the stage now set for an exciting finish in all grades next week.
Going in to the final round, the Open competition is led by Rosalie Drill by only two shots from past winner Karen Fitzgerald, followed by Nacole Horneman and Liz Easther who will make up the final grouping.
Leading the charge for the Bronze 1 title is junior Rhylee Chapman, two shots clear of Fiona Simpson and Lesley Gray, with Simone Morgan making up the final group to tee off in that division next week.
In Bronze 2 Ingrid Cockroft leads the way and will be joined in the final group by Rita Freestone, Helen Henderson and Suzan Hutton.
Daily competition: This week's daily Wednesday competition saw some great net scores recorded, with Helen Henderson in C-grade turning in a 65 net to have the top net score of the day.
A-grade: 1st Sue Jenkinson (67 net); 2nd Josie Kirkman (68 c/b); 3rd Liz Easther (68).
B-grade: 1st Elizabeth Connick (69); 2nd Fiona Simpson (70); 3rd Carolyn Smith (71).
C-grade: 1st Helen Henderson (65); 2nd Julie Rowbottom (67); 3rd Ingrid Cockroft (68).
