Echuca’s Noah Long has been rewarded for an outstanding debut season with West Coast, inking a new two-year contract extension that will tie him to the Eagles until 2026.

Taken with pick number 58 in the 2022 draft, Long played 19 games for West Coast this season, impressing in his role as a small forward to finish ninth in the club’s best-and-fairest count.
Re-signed alongside midfielder Jai Culley, defender Alex Witherden and forward Jake Waterman, list manager Rohan O’Brien said Long should be considered as a key pillar in the club’s rebuild.
“In relatively short periods of time Noah and Jai have made strong impressions and they have shown they can be important players as we move forward,” he said.
