The Kyabram Racing Pigeon Club held a double running on September 16, but only one winner emerged in the two events.

Moama’s M and P Racing’s birds flew fast and true, earning wins in both events, starting with the Hillston 2 race.
Starting alongside Kidman Way south of Hillston, 133 birds, representing 11 trainers, were released, travelling back to their trainers’ lofts.
M and P’s birds completed the 290km journey in 4:32.05, representing an average velocity of 1068.893 metres per minute.
Andrew ‘Bear’ Williamson was in second position, with a velocity of 1062.34, while Rod Clark took out third at a rate of 1052.55.
The club simultaneously held the Hillston Breeders plate from the same liberation point, with trainers able to have multiple entries in the second event.
M and P Racing also took out the plate with the fastest overall entry, while Rod Clark took positions two to four.
