Away to Congupna, the Magpies controlled the court from start to finish in a comfy display which handed Liv Taverna’s side a 68-34 victory with a showdown against unbeaten Rumbalara waiting in the wings.
Up 17-8 at quarter, Moama swished the goals through with aplomb and was soon streaks ahead of The Road at the half to lead 34-15.
Congupna managed to net 10 goals in the third exchange but the game was wrapped and sealed by then, as the Magpies drilled another 15 goals to 24 with a quarter remaining.

Moama continued to dominate in the final stretch, netting 19 goals to bury any hope of a Congupna comeback, who managed 11 of its own.
The Magpies remain in second place with two rounds remaining yet they are expected to be in for a challenge when they host competition leaders Rumbalara in round 17.
They will then look to secure a win against 11th-placed Numurkah in the final round of the season.
