There’s a lot to be excited about at the Kattery this season.
Katandra welcomes former Numurkah premiership playing-coach Renee Morris to the helm in A-grade this season, as the club looks to overcome its finals hurdle.
“They just missed out last year, and we’re hoping we can go deep into finals this year,” Morris said.
“We’re really hoping we can build something, there’s a few 17s girls coming up who look really promising, we’ve definitely got the cattle on the park to be in the mix.”
Aside from promoting a number of young guns, Morris said she had been on a recruiting drive, with a new goal-shooter and a number of other exciting new talents tipped to feature in Kats’ colours this season.
