The Echuca Pistol Club hosted its first competitive event since renovations took place, repairing damage from the 2022 floods and improving the ranges and facilities.

The club secured 14 separate grants totalling $500,000 to get the range competition ready and hosted a state selection match at the weekend.
This was a mandatory event for shooters looking for Victorian team selection and featured more than 90 shooters from across the country.
The event featured two back-to-back one-day state selection events on Saturday, November 16, and Sunday, November 17, with each day’s competition including different stages.
The club is in line to cater to three to four state level events per year.
It is also set to initiate come and try days in the coming months to give prospective members a pathway into pistol shooting.
