In their first match in over a month, the River Rats were bolstered by the inclusion of Tayden Monigatti, who scored both goals for the River Rats.
Stuart Williams and Jason Hensley also impressed in the win, which keeps the River Rats in top spot.
They will be looking to replicate that form in Sunday's game at Echuca College, where they will be pitted against second placed side Strikers.
The River Rats are yet to beat the Strikers this season, playing out both a 2-all draw and 1-3 loss earlier this year.
Echuca Moama's B grade women scored an easy win over bottom-side Euroa on Saturday, capitalising on numerous forward attacks to finish with 11 unanswered goals.
The River Rats boasted eight individual goal scorers led by Chloe Kell (three) and Elyse Kerr (two), with Courtney Thompson joining Kell and Kerr among the best.
The win keeps Echuca Moama in second, a win behind ladder-leader Mooroopna.
The day wasn't all celebration for the River Rats though, the club's A grade men suffering a heavy 2-6 defeat to Mooroopna.
Coming up against their more favoured opponents, the River Rats managed just two goals through Troy Kenny and Ashley Phipps, while Regan More and Adam Thompson did their best to outplay Mooroopna.
The River Rats will host the Strikers in all senior grades on Sunday.
â—In junior action, Echuca-Moama's under 17s continued their near spotless run this season with a comfortable win over GVGS on Saturday.
The River Rats outscored the Grammar by five goals, with Tess Harvey leading the way with a goal and three votes to her name.
Lucas Kell, Ethan Thompson, Scott Park and Will Kerr all chipped in with a score each, while Elyse Kerr preceded her senior showing with a strong performance in the under 17s.
Earlier in the day, the under 14s had a tough time against ladder-leader SYC, losing their clash 1-11.
SYC's Liam Caiafa was the star of the show with seven goals, though Zephan Hensley gave the River Rats something to cheer for after sending through his side's sole goal for the day.
Hamish Ferguson and Lachlan Keilor also impressed to record votes.
The under 17 and under 14s will return to Shepparton tomorrow to play GVGS.
