Sport cancelled in wake of Shepparton COVID-19 case

In light of the recently confirmed positive COVID-19 case in Shepparton there have been several sports shutdown over this coming weekend.

News sport reporter Liam Nash spoke to sporting leagues across the Goulburn Valley on Friday about the slew of community sport rounds set for the weekend that have been officially cancelled.

The Shepparton Netball Association has confirmed all netball has been cancelled for August 21 due to the current outbreak.

Goulburn Valley Grammar School has informed guardians and parents that badminton has been cancelled for August 21.

After the above post, participants of the Shepparton Running Festival were contacted and the event has been cancelled.
