Two hundred and forty players, the best under-12s in country Victoria, have been invited to the four-day skills camp, held from September 21 to 24, after impressing selectors at Country Skills Days.
The participants will be divided into 24 teams of 10 where they will develop their skills with unfamiliar coaches and teammates.
Two EMBA boys, Albie Brewis and Max Williams, were selected to compete at the jamboree.
Rochester Basketball Association has one representative on the girls side in Emily Coonerty.
“We’re very lucky that we have so many accommodation venues that we can host the players and their families, and also, it’s really central,” said Echuca Moama Basketball Association president Lisa Baker.
“It’s a major fundraiser for us as well, and it’s in the school holidays, so you sometimes get people that are up here on holidays coming in and watching, so it’s a really good event.”
