The final score saw the Rams take the win by 53 points - 7.5 (47) to 15.10 (100).

Fortune shone no brighter on the Hawks’ reserves side, which was put through the ringer with an 89-point defeat at the hands of their Deniliquin counterparts (9-98).
Cooper Doyle, Ryan Tranter, Joshua Noonan, Sam Poole, Nicholas Macheda and Jae Bowden were named best players for the home side.
Barooga faces another tough prospect with a round two date booked with Tongala for Saturday, April 12.
