The club will have an action-packed first day of 2025, with a full program of races, live music, various food and beverage options and a fireworks display.
Gates will open at 5.30pm, with the first race to start at 6.25pm and three feature races sprinkled throughout the evening.
The fourth race is the annual Frank and Carmel Ryan Memorial Pace, which will start at 7.50pm.
The meeting’s namesake, the Moama Bowling Club Echuca Pacing Cup, is slated as the fifth race of the night, scheduled for 8.29pm.
The Arch Electrical Echuca Trotters Cup is the sixth race on the card at 9.01pm and has $12,000 in prizemoney up for grabs.
Off the track, there will be plenty of activities and entertainment for the whole family, including free kids’ activities such as a water slide and jumping castle.
The band The Sensational 80s will treat the ears of attendees, playing iconic tunes throughout the evening.
Club president Shane Gloury highlighted its excitement and emphasised how the trots were about more than just racing.
“We are all really looking forward to Wednesday night, it’ll be an excellent meeting for the club,” he said.
“There will be plenty of visitors and tourists around, so we think we’ll get a good number of attendees.
“It should be a good night and, hopefully, it’ll be a bigger and better night than we’ve had recently.
“We like to try and get the families involved as much as possible and provide something for everyone outside just the races.
“It’ll be a great night out for everyone, whether you are eight or 80 there will be something for you.”
