Jenny Tonta (s), Wayne Bradley, Ian Chessells and Joanne Chick led comfortably 17-1 half way through their game, but Echuca fought back doggedly to narrow the gap.

Bruce Clancy (s), Peter Liefting, Sandra Hill and Peter Thommers were level in their game at 16-all on the 14th end, but Rich River proved too steady over the remaining ends.
They picked up 10 shots to four for a deserved victory.
