I picked Numurkah to get the job done as my bold prediction for week four and its victory means my tipping record now stands at a perfect 4-0.
But to be honest, being 4-0 seems to have been, well, easy.
That won’t be the case if my pristine record is to remain intact after this weekend, however, because I am kicking the difficulty level up a notch.
This week I have my eyes set on Goulburn Valley League once again, with my eyes firmly on the bloockbuster meeting between Mooroopna and Seymour on Saturday afternoon.
Am I talking about football or netball, you might be thinking – I am talking about both.
Mooroopna and Seymour are undefeated in senior football and A-grade netball and for the first time this season I have not one, but two bold predictions to make.
Both encounters are going to be tight, but I am tipping that Mooroopna will prevail in the footy and the netball.
The Lions are off to a roaring start, but I am tipping the Cats will be able to tame them come Saturday afternoon.
But what if I’m wrong? What if it’s Seymour that prevails? If that’s the case, I’ll be busting out my lawn mower
If the Lions win in the football, I will mow the entire playing surface at Kings Park using my trusty push lawnmower that I use at home to do the job.
And should Seymour’s netballers emerge victorious, I will mow the lawns of the players named as the best on court on the day.
It has been a while since I’ve had to use my lawn mowing skills and I am tipping that will continue because I believe Mooroopna will be on the winners’ list on Saturday.
