The 2025 Victorian Country All Junior Competition was held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre over the weekend.

Almost 900 swimmers competed, representing 48 clubs from across Country Victoria.
The Ovens and Murray District Heats were swum back in February, which was held at the Yarrawonga Outdoor pool where the Yarrawonga Mulwala Swimming club hosted over 200 swimmers competing for a spot to represent their club and district.
The fastest eight competitors from each age group, swimming in 50m events across all four strokes went through to the Semi Finals which were held at Albert Park on Saturday.
The Yarrawonga Mulwala Swimming Club had 20 qualified swimmers, with ages ranging from 7 years through to the top age of 16 years.
Some of the finalists - Fletcher, Lara and Flynn with Coaches Kevin, Lyndon and Jocelyn on Sunday.
Nine of those swimmers qualified and competed in all four strokes, including Harriet Alexander, 9 yrs, a great achievement for a first time competitor at MSAC.
All swimmers improved on their qualifying times at the Heats which was fantastic, with some huge personal best times.
Competitors vying for a spot in the finals on Sunday needed to place in the top 10. Five swimmers from Yarrawonga Mulwala made it through to day 2, with a second day of great racing and fantastic results.
Fletcher Davies took home Gold in both the Boys 13yrs 50m Freestyle and Boys 13yrs 50m Breaststroke.
Levi Bainikoro, 8yrs, another first time competitor at MSAC made it through to his first final in the 8yrs and Under Boys 50m Backstroke.
Fletcher Davies who qualified through to four finals on Sunday came home with two Gold medals finishing with impressive times, leading the pack in both the Boys 13yrs 50m Freestyle and Boys 13yrs 50m Breaststroke.
The weekend concluded what has been a fantastic Summer Long Course season of training and competing.
Well done to each and every swimmer who has made up the squads this Summer season.

The team looks forward to a break over the coming weeks before resuming for the Winter Short Course season.
