The inaugural Peter Fraser Junior Classic was a day of fun, new friendships, experiences and a whole lot of golf.

It was great way to spend a Sunday at Kyabram Parkland Golf Club.
The nine-hole competition hit off early in great conditions with golfers aged 6-16 learning about all things golf.
Players from Rich River, Shepparton, Neangar Golf, Echuca Back-9 Golf Club, Mooroopna, Tocumwal, Cobram Barooga, Tatura, Church Hill Waverly and Myrtleford having handicaps from 6-42 played throughout the day along with non handicap golfers.
At the end of the nine-hole event two divisions sorted out the winners.
The division one winner was Morgan Lia with converted 45 points, Ashton Hubble was runner-up and Jasper Kellow was third.
In division two the winner was Oliver Patten who had a super 53 points, while Nicholas S had 52 from Harry Roberts.
Nearest the pin on the second shot went to Jackson Arnel.
The afternoon 18-hole golfers put in some great scores.

The boys’ scratch winner Spencer Sharp from Shepparton certainly adjusted his game well to have a 62 off the stick on a course he has never played before.
Indy Baumann continued her great form taking home the girls’ scratch with 75.

Girls handicap - Ella Supple 55 nett
Division one boys handicap winner - Jacob Cartwright 56 nett
Division one boys handicap runner-up - Jack Sudweeks 59 nett
Division one boys third - Solomon Welsh 60 nett
Division two boys wInner - Chase J with 50 nett
Division two boys runner-up - Carter Andrews 54 nett
Division two boys third - Bevan McKenzie 54 nett

Liam McInnes won the Betta Electrical shootout for the ear buds.
