“I love being able to serve the customers,” she said.
“Everyone is very friendly, all the staff and customers.
On the day What’s On visited the tearooms, Courtney had made up the toasties, as well as portioned the jam and cream to go with the Devonshire teas.
The family-friendly menu includes freshly baked cakes, slices and toasties along with barista-made coffee and tea.
The Murray River Tearooms are a social enterprise of Community Living and Respite Service Inc and can be found at 10 Meninya St, Moama, open Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm.
